This, my coffee loving friends and family, is an authentic Turkish coffee pot. Last night Matthew and I had a delightful steak dinner with an adorable couple, Kane and Irina. After dinner, Kane was excited to show us his recently ordered gadget from amazon, which just happened to be this coffee pot. While waiting for the pie to heat in the oven, Kane patiently and delicately tended to the coffee on the stove while we watched in anticipation. He served it to the four of us in these tiny cups; the cup can't be more than an ounce . You sip it until you reach the tar-like coffee grounds at the bottom of the cup. We didn't have much coffee, but boy was it delicious!
Grateful for new friends, experiences, and ways to make coffee!
